Updated: Sep 1, 2023

Dr. Jannah Scott, the CEO of the American Center for Religious Freedom (ACRF), recently expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the Annual Law & Religion Review workshop alongside Nicole Stirling, The Stirling Foundation, and colleagues from Brigham Young University (BYU). The workshop focused on how faith groups engage nationwide on important civic issues, and Dr. Scott was honored to be a part of it.

As a leader in the fight for religious freedom, Dr. Scott understands the importance of collaboration and working with others to achieve common goals. She was thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in the workshop and share her perspectives on how faith groups can play a role in addressing important societal issues.

In addition, Dr. Scott was privileged to speak at the "Bridging the Religious Divide Symposium on Freedom of Religion or Belief," co-sponsored by Utah Global Diplomacy, and brought together experts from around the world to discuss religious freedom and its impact on society. Thanks to Nicole Stirling and Rachel Miner, CEO of the Bellwether Foundation, Dr. Scott was able to share the stage with dynamic speakers such as Nadine Maenza, former Chair of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, and Dr. Elizabeth Clark, Associate Director for the International Center for Law and Religion Studies at Brigham Young University.

Dr. Scott spoke about the important role that faith communities can play in promoting religious freedom and tolerance and highlighted the work that ACRF is doing to support religious freedom worldwide. She emphasized the need for collaboration and cooperation across different groups and organizations to achieve common goals.

Overall, Dr. Scott's participation in these events served as a reminder of the power of collaboration and the importance of engaging with others to create positive change in the world. She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to participate in these important discussions and looks forward to continuing to work with others to address important societal issues.
